Mission

The purpose of the Small Micro and Minority Women Owned Business Enterprise Advisory Committee is to provide guidance on the implementation of the SBE/MBE Program, to promote the participation and use of SBE/MBEs and M/WBEs in the procurement activities of the School Board. They also identify and evaluate issues related to economic opportunities within the School Board for small, micro and minority/women owned businesses and provide recommendations to the School Board to improve the SBE/MBE program. Along with releasing an annual report on the progress of these metrics, they also monitor any disparity study that may be conducted by the School Board and make recommendations based on the results of any such study.
